Local livin’

Today was spent exploring some cool local areas. We checked out this place called the East End Market. When I looked it up online it reminded me a bit of Reading Terminal Market in Philly so we wanted to check it out. It was pretty nice! Definitely had the Reading Terminal vibes but was way smaller. We ate lunch at this delicious place called Farm&Haus, if you’re ever in downtown Orlando, I definitely recommend it. There were a couple of other neat shops there, and a nice outdoor seating area.

On our way back to Kissimmee we drove by this cute nursery and decided to take a look.

It looked small from the street but it was actually pretty big. It had a lot of different sections. Really any kind of flower you were looking for. Everyone there was also very helpful and knowledgeable. They had a workshop going on about starting your own garden. We tried a local beekeepers honey and ended up grabbing some honey lotion. It smells so good!

Over all I’d say it was a pretty cool day. I’m sad I didn’t bring my Canon because there were tons of good photo opportunities, mentally noted for next adventure. Jess let me take a few pics of her with her new phone, here’s one:

This week will definitely be a busy one. I already can’t wait until Friday! Haha.
