Sundays are for soccer.

Today I had so much fun with my friends.
They’ve played soccer as a group for months now, this Sunday I decided to join them and it was awesome. It was also such a good workout.

The second picture I’m posting I’m a bit nervous about. Nervous about it for reasons I won’t point out. Either way I’m proud of myself for being able to keep my balance. I’m proud of myself for improving. One step at a time.

One step forward.

Today was day one of jogging. I woke up earlier than normal and jogged once around the block which is about 0.55 of a mile. Once I got home I decided I wanted to at least jog a mile today so the roommates and I went out for another jog. That time I jogged/walked 1.05 miles. I also started to do the physical therapy exercises for my toes. I’m hoping I’ll be 100% soon. It sucks that I feel like I’m limited with how much I can do. But against medical advice I went for a jog today and my toes didn’t totally kill me afterwards. That’s a win in my book.

Goal oriented.

I made this workout board for Jess and I. It’s pretty basic, just general outline for our workout goals for the week. I’m not getting super into anything this week. But I would like to at least jog everyday. That’s my small goal. Jess has been jogging herself everyday for a week and you can really tell. I’m hoping it’ll help keep me motivated. Sometimes I feel like I’m hitting that stagnant point again. I worry about it.

I’m hoping this board will morph with time but maybe it’ll stay the way it is. I try to keep doing little things to keep myself motivated, to see the real progress, and to recognize those small goals.
