Just a reminder.

You can get so busy throughout your day, it’s so easy to forget one of the simplest things.
To just take a breath.
Learning to breathe was one of the things that helped me the most with my anxiety.
I don’t mean just remembering to take a breath either.
I’m talking about being conscious of your breathing, how much air is going in? How much air is coming out? Feeling the air filling up every part of your lungs and slowly letting it out. Making sure that your breathing rhythm is right, not too fast, not too slow.
Really appreciating every breath that enters your lungs and escapes your lips.

Winter in Florida.

Not many places where during the Winter you can throw on your bathing suit and lounge in the pool. At times I do wish it was colder in Florida (mostly in the blazing hot summer) but today was really nice!
I’m currently debating if I should get a 50mm lens or save up for an 85mm lens.
Decisions, decisions.
Tomorrow starts a new week!
I’m excited to see what this week has to offer.

Classroom on a mission.

Today my class hit the $100.00 mark on their fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I am SO proud of them. They have brought me so much change just on their own. They’ve picked up pennies on the floor, given me change from their piggy banks, and they’ve just surprised me. These kids don’t have much money, most are on free lunch plans. It’s just really nice to see them work so hard towards this goal.
I created this web page on the Leukemia and Lymphoma society website. It’s my classes page, I’ll share the link below and if you are able to give even just $1.00, every penny counts!

A break.

Today was, stressful, and hectic.
I didn’t get much sleep last night and the sleep I did get was interrupted by my stomach hating me. I then had a stomach ache all day. Just not a very good day.
Even though I was tired, and stressed, I came home today and played catch with my boys.
I decided to take pictures of them while I was at it.
Just by taking that hour, my day was turned around. 🙂
