Tie dye fails

Tomorrow is field day! So I decided very last minute that I wanted to do something for the kids, I went to Hobby Lobby, bought 16 white shirts and a tie dye kit and went to work! I let the kids pick their colors and put their rubber bands on. Upon unwrapping all of the shirts I realized I probably should’ve put on the rubber bands because a lot of the shirts had way too much white. You live and you learn right?

Tight chest.

Tingling fingers, shakey breath,

An ever so tightening chest.

Waterfall of thoughts, constant crashing down,

Clenched fists, permanent frown.

Oh, what I would do,

To get away from you.

Step back, step back

If only it were as easy,

To walk away from me.

I’m sorry.

I’ve been neglectful. My life has been so jam packed the past week and I just lost track of time! I missed some photo days in April. And rather than post some snapchat pics or some half assed pics I’m just going to start fresh tomorrow. I lasted three months without missing a day! Let’s see if I can last the rest of the year. This week I will be making a post about my trip to Austin last weekend. It was a pretty awesome time and I’m excited to share some of those moments and some of the pictures I took.

As for a quick update to my life lately, we’re starting another round of “Whole 30” tomorrow. I say that only because it’s not going to be as strict but we’re still putting a big focus on no added sugars and grains. I’ve also been playing sports a lot more. I’ve found the love of beach volleyball.

One of my favorite parts about getting active and playing games is that I get to hang out with my friends.

I made a goal for myself. My birthday is May 8th. I’d like to break the weight I’ve been kind of stuck at by then. I was originally going to do 26 pounds by 26 but I don’t want to set an unrealistic goal so I have to lose about ten pounds instead which I think is definitely possible.

Here’s to a fresh start, and hopefully not missing a day for the rest of the year!
