Growth

Man, when I started this day, I did not think it would go the way it did.

Today was a roller coaster. I am SO tired from only getting collectively about four hours of sleep but I am so happy right now.

Last year when I started coaching softball at the high school level I was the assistant JV coach. What that basically means is that I was helping out, stepping in to correct mistakes but wasn’t in charge of the show.

This year I am the head coach and let me tell you when I found out that I was going to be the head coach I was scared. I’ve never actually been in charge and led my own team before I always just helped out the head coach.

Today was my first practice where I was in charge and took the lead. I was SO nervous. How was I supposed to know the best exercises to do? Not only that but the pressure of having the varsity coaches watching was also stressful. I went in to today’s practice trying to stay positive but freaking out in the inside.

By the end of practice today, all I heard from the girls was how much they liked practice today and how much fun they had. How they feel like they’re improving already.

I am so shocked. I am so dang happy. I am definitely riding a high right now. Just so stoked about where this season is going to go.

Meditate

My stress level will be on a high until who knows when.

That’s a pretty crappy but accurate thought to have. So many things I think about right now cause me such anxiety. It feels never ending.

Super Bowl Bound

This weekend was full of much needed chill times.

If you haven’t watched A Man called Otto, I highly recommend. It wasn’t really what I expected at all.

When I woke up this morning allergies ruled me.

For some reason I have a weird feeling about this week. Could just be a random bout of anxiety but something feels off.

Either way, eagles are going to the Super Bowl! 🔥

Orange dirt

Softball is back and I’m so happy! We got a lot of new girls this year and that makes me the most excited because the amount of growth we see from them in just a few months is phenomenal!

Today was a day. Jess had a training though so we were able to have lunch together and that made everything today worth it.

When after 6 ½ years the best part of your day is seeing your person, keep ‘em. ♥️
